AMA ALUMNI FOUNDATION
MISSION STATEMENT

“To preserve the traditions of the Augusta Military Academy and honor the memory of its alumni, faculty, staff, and supporting families through the AMA Museum, the Legacy Scholarship, and the publication of The Museum Newsletter, which is available online.”

The Alumni Organizations of the Augusta Military Academy were created by former cadets to preserve our shared heritage and strengthen connections among members. Any former cadet, faculty member, staffer, or friend of the Academy is welcome to join. There are no applications, initiation rituals, dues, or obligatory duties. Since we are self-supporting, we kindly ask for contributions to help maintain the Museum, provide scholarships, and cover administrative costs. A donation button is available at the bottom of the homepage. The Augusta Military Academy Alumni Foundation, Inc., was established in 2000 as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with EIN: 54-2028850 to provide a secure, ongoing base for alumni activities. Any donations are tax deductible on federal and Virginia State income taxes.

It is overseen by a thirteen-member Board of Directors and supports:

1. The AMA Legacy Scholarship Fund (for lineal descendants of former cadets)
2. The AMA Museum
3. The maintenance of the alumni mailing lists
4. The publication of The Museum Newsletter, which is available online
